How do you charge for concrete delivery?
Concrete2u (Qld) charges based on the amount used, not the amount ordered. The Quoted price is only an estimate based on the amount of concrete you ordered and the standard time on site. This will be discussed with you at the time we quote the concrete delivery job.
How do I pay Concrete2u for concrete delivered?
Concrete2u (Qld) carries an eftpos machine on board, so you can pay by credit card or debit card. We also accept cash.
How much concrete can I order?
Our truck from Concrete2u (Qld) can carry the amount of ingredients to mix up to 2 cubic metres of concrete. In general any amount of concrete from .1 m3 to 2m3.
What strength concrete do you deliver?
Our trucks can standard mix 20MPa, 25MPa and 32MPa. Talk to us about any specific needs and we will do our best to accommodate.
What access do you need for the concrete truck?
Because of the size of our trucks, concrete2u can generally get closer than the average concrete mix truck. The truck is 2.6 m wide, 2.8 m high and 6.7 m long. We will try to get as close as possible to the pouring site. We also carry 2 wheelbarrows for you to cart the concrete to the desired location.
How long does it take for the concrete to cure?
As with most things it depends on a number of factors: Thickness, the weather and the strength of the concrete. Generally speaking the concrete mix stays workable for 1-3 hours, it “sets” within 24 hours and then it takes about 28 days to fully cure to full strenght. If you need specific advice, give us a call.
How much time will the truck be on site in the quoted price to complete my concreting job.
The truck will be on site for a minimum of 35 minutes for 1 to 2 barrows of concrete and up to 2 hours for 2 cubic metres.
Concrete2u understands that not every job is the same. Some jobs are a direct pour, others can be by wheelbarrow or buckets.
Booking times will generally cover the time allotted to complete your job and allowing for the arrival time to the next customer.
Can I order less than 2 cubic metres of concrete?
Yes, you can order as little concrete as you wish. Since we serve many customers in Brisbane, this has allowed us to deliver even smaller batches. We allow orders of up to 2 cubic metres. If you need more than 2 cubic metres, we can arrange and deliver this service to you. Contact us to book a schedule for your next delivery.
How much is in a cubic metre of concrete?
A cubic metre of concrete is approximately 2200 kg. However, it’s ideal to calculate concrete in terms of volume for precision because of its formation. It’s easy to identify the volume needed for your construction.
What if my project requires more concrete?
If your project requires more concrete than you’ve ordered, we will batch more to complete your project. The costs will remain constant. If you order more than needed you will you will only be charged for the amount used because at Concrete2u everything is batched precisely. No concrete is wasted as our employees are highly experienced.
What type of cement do you use?
We use high-quality cement for all the projects regardless of the size. Our agents will be able to share more details with you as you place an order. Our aggregate and sand are sourced from the best quality producers in Australia. Quality is our number one priority at Concrete2u.
Can the concrete delivery be postponed?
Yes, Concrete2u allows you to postpone or cancel your delivery at any time. We understand weather conditions may change,causing you to postpone or cancel your delivery. Since our concrete is batched on the site, you can cancel or reschedule your delivery for another day. We encourage you to contact us as quickly as you can as a fee may be applicable if the truck is enroute.
